　　故事发生在上世纪三十年代的上海，周瑾（韩雪 饰）的父亲死于非命，意外得知自己神秘身世的周瑾发誓要查清父亲死亡的真相。周瑾同好友苏志文（马天宇 饰）一起，隐瞒了真实的身份，潜入了上海最声名显赫的沈家。
　　沈家有四朵金花：外表优雅内心狠毒的大小姐方柔枝（王琳 饰）、热爱文艺有些神经质的二小姐方琪（徐百卉 饰）、出国留学命途多舛的三小姐曾凌戈（毛晓彤 饰）和相信金钱至上的四小姐曾雨衫（雷洋 饰）。随着时间的推移，周瑾渐渐发现，这个表面上光鲜亮丽的大家族，实际上早已经败絮其中，而众人极力想要隐藏的秘密，正是周瑾千方百计想要得到的真相。

　　许愿（夏雨饰），北京潘家园小古董店"四悔斋〃的老板，古董鉴宝界最具权威的"五脉梅花"家族之一许家，唯一的传人。为了楸出隐藏在五脉之中的〃老朝奉〃造假势力，许愿孤身一人入局破局，与 庞大的古董造假集团展开层层较量，却被设局指引牵扯出两幅《清明上河图》真赝难辨的惊天秘密。随着迷局的层层解开，境外神秘的造假势力也浮出水面，而这些竟然都与当年许愿爷爷的护宝冤案有着千丝万缕的关系。为了查出前世真相，许愿再度联手投靠于"老朝奉"的药不然（魏晨饰），但不曾想这所有的一切都尽在老朝奉的掌握之中，而老朝奉势力的背后还藏着更大的谜团。
　　赝品迷局环环相扣，两幅《清明上河图》真赝难辨，亦正亦邪的药不然又是背负着怎样的使命，五脉前世恩怨纠葛最终如何解答，而幕后BOSS "老朝奉"究竟是谁，这一切谜中谜的答案都隐藏在早已布好的局中局里。

　　David Tennant (Des; Staged; Doctor Who), Dolly Wells (The Pursuit Of Love; Dracula; Can You Ever Forgive Me?) and Lydia West (It’s A Sin; Years And Years; Dracula) will lead the cast of a major new thriller from BAFTA and Emmy award-winning writer Steven Moffat (Dracula, Sherlock, Doctor Who), alongside Stanley Tucci (Feud; The King’s Man; Spotlight) in the title role of the Inside Man.
　　Produced by Hartswood Films for BBC One and Netflix, it will be directed by Paul McGuigan (Sherlock; Dracula; Film Stars Don’t Die In Liverpool).
　　The captivating four part mini-series follows a prisoner on death row in the US, a Vicar in a quiet English town, and a maths teacher trapped in a cellar, as they cross paths in the most unexpected way…

　　Inside Man is a 4x60 drama for BBC One and Netflix. It is created and written by Steven Moffat, directed by Paul McGuigan, with Alex Mercer as producer. Executive producers are Sue Vertue for Hartswood Films and Ben Irving for the BBC. Chris Sussman will oversee for Netflix. It was commissioned by Charlotte Moore, BBC Chief Content Officer, and Piers Wenger, Director of BBC Drama. BBC Studios are the international distributors and brokered the deal with Netflix.
　　The series will premiere on BBC One and BBC iPlayer in the UK and on Netflix outside of the UK and Ireland. Filming will take place later this year.
